SY26 CPS Dual Language Conference has ended
Friday June 5, 2026 1:45pm - 2:30pm PDT
Location: Room 375

This session explores how the Skyline ALE Spanish Language Arts curriculum provides a coherent, standards-aligned framework for native language instruction and supports biliteracy development in bilingual programs. Participants will also learn how the Biliteracy Foundational Skills curriculum aligns the Skyline ELA and ALE word study scopes and sequences, leveraging intentional cross-linguistic connections that reinforce literacy development in both Spanish and English.

Through an interactive analysis of curriculum materials and sample tasks, participants will gain practical strategies for delivering biliteracy-aligned instruction that elevates students’ linguistic assets and ensures access to grade-level learning across languages.

Language: Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Grade Levels: K–2, 3–5, 6–8
