Friday June 5, 2026 11:00am - 11:50am PDT
Limited Capacity full
What does high-quality instruction look like in a dual language classroom where language development and content learning occur simultaneously? This interactive session explores high-leverage instructional practices that support multilingual learners while maintaining rigorous and engaging Tier 1 instruction.
Participants will examine practical strategies such as intentional language objectives, structured student discourse, scaffolding for comprehension and production, and inclusive co-teaching models that promote access for all learners. Through real classroom examples and collaborative reflection, educators will identify ways to strengthen instruction that honors students’ linguistic assets and fosters academic success in both languages.
Attendees will leave with actionable tools and strategies that can be immediately applied to enhance instruction in dual language settings.
