SY26 CPS Dual Language Conference
Friday June 5, 2026 11:00am - 11:50am PDT
Limited Capacity full
This session shares a four-part schoolwide initiative that positions bilingualism as a superpower. Through a developmental sequence of assemblies, students cultivate linguistic courage, cultural ambassadorship, social consciousness, and academic perseverance. Each “superpower” aligns with the core pillars of dual language education: biliteracy, sociocultural competence, critical consciousness, and high academic achievement.
Participants will explore how identity-driven programming can strengthen student voice, support academic outcomes, and foster a cohesive schoolwide culture that builds community and social capital.
Language: Spanish
Grade Levels: Pre-K, K–2, 3–5, 6–8
