With over 18 years of experience in multilingual and bilingual education, I bring a research-based, classroom-informed approach to my work—grounded in equity and language development. I lead curriculum design, professional learning, and instructional strategy for Spanish Language Arts and biliteracy, including contributions to Chicago Public Schools’ ALE Skyline Curriculum and Spanish Language Arts standards.
I have served on the WIDA Marco DALE advisory council and am a member of the Renaissance Biliteracy Leaders Cohort. Currently, I’m pursuing a Ph.D. in Education with a focus on dictation as a method to improve Spanish spelling.
I believe that in a world growing more connected every day, biliteracy is not just a superpower—it is the key to building bridges, breaking barriers, and ensuring every voice is heard. It is an act of equity, a celebration of identity, and a pathway to unity.
