SY26 CPS Dual Language Conference
Friday June 5, 2026 11:00am - 11:50am PDT
Limited Capacity seats available
This session explores instructional coaching through the lens of adult learning, with a focus on how educators grow, refine practice, and sustain change over time. Grounded in research on adult learning and effective professional development, participants will examine what it means to support teachers with clarity, coherence, and care. We will consider how coaching can move beyond compliance and isolated feedback toward ongoing, job-embedded learning that is responsive to teachers’ contexts and builds collective capacity. Through examples and reflection, participants will explore how to design and facilitate coaching that strengthens instructional practice, supports implementation of high-quality materials, and creates meaningful opportunities for teacher learning.
