Long-Term English Learners (LTELs) represent one of the most persistent equity challenges in our schools. This session highlights a middle school LTEL Pilot designed to accelerate language development through intentional systems, instructional shifts, and data-driven collaboration. Participants will explore how schools used WIDA-aligned practices, Grade-Level Meetings (GLMs), and student goal-setting to improve outcomes related to Oracy development. Attendees will leave with practical tools and a replicable framework to implement in their own contexts.
